In the framework of the Alumni Mentoring Program (AMP), 44 students will begin working with their chosen mentors this semester. It is a special pleasure that this year 8 international students participating in foreign-language programs have also joined the program.
This year, networking and the presentation of the related University of Szeged (SZTE) services receive special emphasis. Therefore, in addition to those actively participating in the mentoring collaboration, we also welcome interested students and alumni members who wish to develop themselves in this area. Our goal is to show them as many career-building and development opportunities as possible.
Thus, in a unique arrangement this year, the AMP opening ceremony will be held within the framework of the 50th SZTE Job Fair, where participation will be not only useful but also an exciting challenge for you! A special feature of our program is that it encourages students to actively participate in the event through the completion of a "mission" – the goal is for participants to get the most out of the Job Fair, the Preparation Days programs, and the AMP itself.

Why is it worth participating?
Because participation is mandatory for course students and highly recommended for others!
Because you can take part in practical lectures that will help you consciously prepare for your career: topics will include effective CV writing, interview techniques, rhetorical skills, and the professional basics of career building—all presented by HR experts and experienced lecturers.
What makes the opening special is that it encourages you to actively participate in the event by completing a "mission" – the goal is to get the most out of the Job Fair and the Preparatory Days programs, as well as the AMP.

10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Complete the mission (requirements: 1 presentation and/or 2 exhibitors)
- Find the SZTE Alma Mater stand at the Job Fair and ask for the mission booklet!
- 12.00 p.m. – 01.00 p.m. or 1.30 p.m. – 2.30.p.m.
You can find the AMP coordinator in Seminar Room 4 - you can ask her technical questions and get answers, and the coordinator can help you to find a mentor as well.
- Join for the following presentation:
2.15 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. BREAKING THE MYTHS: What Does the Job Market Expect from You – and What Can You Expect from It? and / or
- Visit at least 2 exhibitors at the Job Fair.
- Fill out the mission booklet and hand it in at the SZTE Alma Mater stand!
