Start the summer with your friends and colleagues at the Alma Mater Weekend and Sports Day!
On Saturday morning, 11 June 2022, we can finally meet again at the Alma Mater Weekend and Sports Day. After a two-year hiatus, we'll be back with the usual elements and colourful activities, but we've also come up with new activities to celebrate together again with a day of fun. Be sure to come along and meet the rest of us at this multi-faceted celebration of the University of Szeged!
GastroMater, a university cooking competition, will be held again in the usual way: teams representing faculties and institutes will be able to compete in the field of stewing. Gather your colleagues, former colleagues and enter to win the Golden Spoon Award this year!

If you're not in the mood to look after the fire, come to the weeekend for a good chat: bean bags, resting places and fun await you. And if you get hungry or thirsty, you don't need to go to the shop, you can buy delicacies, refreshments and picnic baskets in the GastroGarden! Plan your Saturday lunch for Apple Weekend and be a liberated college student again!
While the adults chat, the children are entertained by a cavalcade of children's activities. Colourful bubbles, bouncy castle, crafts, board games, petting zoo, giant fairground, green ride, mini ninja track, Decathlon skill stations, sports competitions, henna and face painting, there's plenty to describe.
All the performers have promised to stay with us for a while after the show so the kids can try juggling, being a cheerleader and jumping high in Kangoo shoes. We'll have athletes and teams with us to bring the sports closer to the kids. Tell them to try everything and collect their seals, because this year there are exciting and valuable prizes waiting for you!
This year's Alma Mater Weekend is part of the SZTE Physical Culture concept, so not only children but also adults can compete. We welcome everyone who has Moved Out with us in the past, because the prize money is waiting for you here. Try out the sports individually: wall climbing, archery, sport shooting, TRX, Kangoo, Aerial Yoga classes or Decathlon stations are waiting for you.

Take part in the competitions and prove that you are the best in ping pong, tengo, streetball or badminton. And if you're up for something fun, book yourself a giant foosball pitch and be the best footballer!

And it's still not over. This year is the 100th anniversary of the university, so we're also preparing a surprise attraction where each participant can take home a souvenir, and in the evening we'll top the day off with a rocking Hungi party, where the Kultúrkör will perform, and then we'll stay young and party and not go home until the sun comes up!
