After two years, the SZTE Alma Mater (Alumni organization of the University) can finally organise the Alma Mater Weekend and Sports Day in Hattyas Array on 11th June, Saturday.
Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus epidemic, we have not had the opportunity to organize the Weekend, which has a tradition of 15 years, therefore this year we are more excited than ever before.
At the 2022 Alma Mater Weekend and Sports Day the focus is on body culture and sports, and as usual, visitors can try out various types of exercises at the stands of the exhibitors and watch them showing their bests.
After the exhausting physical activities, participants should eat well and taste the results of the cooking competition. For the first time this year, competitors can create delicacies from many different ingredients. If you wish to participate with your team, send your application via email to almamater@szte.hu. In the email please write the following details:
- Team name
- How many of the team members would like to eat (how many kids will be with you)
Not only the University's employees, alumni and students can find programs to their liking, but children will not be bored either. Stay tuned and follow us on our blog, Facebook or Instagram.
Participants of the SZTE 100 - Move out! challenge are highly encouraged to visit the Weekend: announcements of result and prizes giveaways are also scheduled. We just whisper it: as this year's results have already exceeded our expectations, all participants of the challenge are planned to be rewarded with presents. The day ends with a party, hosted by the Hungi Vigadó.
The event is free, but requires an SZTE Alma Mater membership, which is available by the registration at our website launched at spring of 2020. (Those who had registered before spring of 2020, must register here as well). For the first time this year, participants will also receive wristbands for tickets with a free QR code, the application for these tickets will be available after the 1st of June 2022.
