This holiday season again, we would like to encourage the SZTE community to give. As we prepare for the holidays, let's join together to create a Merry Christmas for those less fortunate. This year, we have launched the SZTE Alma Mater Christmas fundraising campaign to support the Elszalasztott 1000 év KHE (wasted 1000 years public benefit association)  and the Szeged Family Transition Home and Fatima House in Ópusztaszer, through which we will send gifts and donations.

How can you help?

Toys in good condition or new: We are looking for toys that you would like to have!

Clothing donations: If you have surplus, good condition or new clothes and shoes, think of those who need them. We're mainly looking to collect for children aged 3-15, but we could use donations for all ages. We are mainly looking for winter clothes and warm coats, shoes, boots, but please only bring something you would like to have!

Long-lasting food: Think about those who need help with food options.

Household and toiletries: Mainly washing powder, fabric softener, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, tissues, soap, shower gel, shampoo, cosmetics are needed.

Sweets: Sweet treats are always a delight, especially during the holidays. We ask you to help us with sweets so that everyone can feel the Christmas magic.

Look for the donation boxes!

Material donations are expected between 15 November and 10 December, and on 5 December, the Elszalasztott 1000 év KHE (wasted 1000 years public benefit association) will be present at the SZTE Alma Mater Santa Claus event in the TIK, so that in addition to material donations, donations of money for firewood and the replacement of household items will also be possible.

Participation in the SZTE Alma Mater Santa Claus event requires registration by sending us an email, but donations will be accepted without it.
